That would probably be the D-Tek Fusion v2 if u can find it. It gets great ratings.
Also the EK Supreme (if cpu only loop)
The new Swiftech GTZ looks promising too, but i havent seen any reviews on it yet

If i recall the B is the set version of the 655, the vario model though gets u one extra setting (like 4 locked and 5 on the vario), but i might have models mixed up

Rad. is ur choice. Some will say go cheap cause its like a 2-3C difference. Others will say go with a nice Thermochill/Feser/DD GTX but its ur call if u want to spend the $$$

For a quad core I'd consider the D-Tek Fuzion v2, Swiftech Apogee GTZ, or EK Supreme. They will all be within a degree of each other and you can't go wrong with either. Choose on price and availability.

Try to get the Vario model (non B instead). Its a little more expensive, but i believe it has an extra setting (like 4 locked on the B) and 5 on the vario. Its just how they made them, its dumb but thats how it is

is this the model u are talking about? If not could you supply me with a linky? http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6190/ex-pmp-54/Swiftech_MCP655_12v_Water_Pump_w_Speed_Control_and_38_Conversion_Kit_317_GPH.html?tl=g30c107s155
also, what do you think would be better,

pump>cpu>dual rad>GPU>single rad>res>pump? or....
Pump>cpu>Gpu>tripple rad>res>pump?

I know it adds an extra item and could slow down flow-rate. but what do you think would be better as far as performance?

That's the MCP655 vario, but you can find it quite a bit cheaper at other places. Try Jab-tech.com, Petrastechshop.com, or Performance-pcs.com

The single 360 would offer slightly better performance as it should offer slightlye less resistance.

Yea +1 to Tony

The 655 with the speed controller (no B) is the better model, but more expensive

And as for the rads, the triple (if the same type) will give better performance due to less resistance like Tony said....

For the pumps go with DDC 3.2 (MCP 355) with custom XSPC top. That will actually give you better performance than MCP655 while producing less heat, it should also be around the same price.

There is sort of a debate going on in the WCing world because higher flow increases temps a bit, however after a certain point the power required to get the flow that high causes massive heat dumps and increases temps.

Here is a flow rate estimator. As long as you have above 1gpm you shouldn't experience won't be loosing more than 1C in performance. If you have never heard of this guy he is basically the Jonny GURU of liquid cooling flow rates.

Also, I have the GTZ and I really like it so far. I am in the process of OCing but at 3.3ghz and vcore of 1.44 (I usually just start with high vcore and then drop it) on a Q6600 my 100% load temps never get above 45c, even if my gpu is loaded heavily (also in my loop).

Isnt the Hydor an aquarium pump?!?!

I guess u could use it lol, but it seems like a weird way to go. 5/8" ID just seems like a pain in the butt to deal with.

Also for the top, i like the Petra top (cleaner look) and higher performance
but i dont get the difference between the 655 and the DDC with the top.

No debate from me. Martin's test have shown that optimum flow rate is between1-1.5GPM and any more does not appreciably increase cooling performance.

I have the DDC 3.2 (MCP 355) now with the XSPC top. I have also used the MCP655. Both are outstanding pumps and will produce similar results in this setup. The DDC does take up less space and the clear top looks pretty. But the choice between them is more one of preference than performance, IMO. The MCP 655 is the "workhorse" of watercooling and probably the most widely recommended.
