I am building my own rig and i want to know which water cooling kit is best for Overclocking Core i7 4770K From 3.5GHz to 4.5 - 4.7 GHZ. I am thinking to buy - http://www.xs-pc.com/watercooling-kits/raystorm-d5-photon-ax240-watercooling-kit , But I am still confused. My PC's has
MotherBoard - Asus Maximus 6 formula
PSU - Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 1000W 1000 Watts PSU
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB
GPU – Asus NVidia GTX660 ti-DC2t-2gd5 2 Gb GddR5
SSD – Samsung 840 Series 250 GB
HDD – Seagate Barracuda 2TB
Cabinet – BitFenix Colossus (Window)

Solution

I haven't put a wc cooling loop before and I was confused while selecting the graphics card so I thought that this would be fine. Any suggestions for GPU??

The kit you picked out is a really top end kit, unless you plan on OCing your rig to the max and spend a lot of time installing, bleeding and testing it I don’t think I would recommend it for a first time WC set up. But then again that is all part of the fun of course and it is a very nice collection of components.

If you wanted to save a lot of time and money perhaps consider an expandable AIO set up like the Cooler Master Glacier 240L. You can add in your graphics card in the loop and another radiator if you want to also. I think it is a really nice set up, a re-branded Swiftech H220.

If your system is mainly for gaming then save some money and pick up a i5 4670k, it will work fine for a gaming. And perhaps save a little money on your MB with a ASUS Pro or Hero, they are both very good boards for OCing. On your memory I would suggest DDR3 1866, the 840 EVO is a good SSD, I would spend a bit extra for a WD HDD over a Seagate. Your PS is a bit overkill, perhaps get a gold rated 750W, it would power everything just fine.

With all the money you have saved in the above changes get a GTX 780Ti graphics card, it is very fast.

What if i use a 2 GB GTX680 GPU and Corsair's H100i for the cooler as CM Glacer 240L is not available in my country.

Solution

No, the swiftech h220 is also not available so I chose swiftech h320. And i swapped my graphics card too with a GTX770.
So now my configuration is
CPU - Intel core i7 4770k
Cabinet - NZXT Switch 810
MotherBoard - Asus Maximus 6 formula or extreme
Graphic Card - MSI NVIDIA N770 TF 2GD5/OC 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card.
RAM - Corsair vengeance 16gb
PSU - PSU - Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 1000W 1000 Watts PSU
SSD - samsung 840 series 250gb
HDD - Seagate barracuda 2tb
Cooler - Swiftech H320 -
Keyboard and Mouse - Razor DeathStalker and Razor DeathAdder 2013
Win 8.1

Is this fine ??

Okay.. Thanks a lot For your Help!
