Hello everyone, I posted this a week ago but I wasn't getting anywhere. I have a budget of 500$ and want to upgrade my budget gaming pc to more of an editing pc from the 6300 to the 8350. I was told that most of my parts aren't going to be able to be used again if I was to upgrade and it doesn't matter to me as long as I can get the 8350 and stay below 500$.

So far I think I would be best to get a new motherboard, a bigger case, and the 8350, but I'm not to good with estimating for cooling and if I would need a bigger power supply. I DO NOT plan on overclocking. I'm not editing as a job at the moment, it's just a hobby. I don't plan on rendering in 1080p right now either 720p is just fine. I'm working with programs like After Effects and Cinema 4D. If you think the 6300 is good enough for what I'm doing right now then let me know since I haven't tried rending on my pc yet. If you can, make the upgrades as cheap as you can. I also don't plan on buying all the parts till December at latest so prices will change.

Thanks for the help!

So ,as far as CPU and Mobo comination for the new rig,it is very good combo!
And the RAM would be just Fine for the new build.
Storage and GPU are your personal choices.
I recommend getting a higher capacity PSU.Just to be assured and for future expansions! many options are there like XFX 650,Corsair RM650,Seasonic G-650 etc
Case is matter of liking, but I have a favourite for your need.Have a look at Phanteks Enthoo pro! it is large full of features and good build quality!

As far as cooling goes,CM Hyper 212 Evo.It is very effective!
