Hello,

I am looking to upgrade to an M2.2280 NVMe drive and have it as my new C: drive (w/ Windows 10). My current C: drive is a 1TB (931 GB measured) Seagate HDD, and my new drive will be a Western Digital WD Blue SN550 NVMe M.2 2280 1TB PCI-Express 3.0 x4.

First question: Can I clone the old into the new using free software?
Second question: Are the drives okay to clone across to?

Solution
I have used Macrium Reflect Free Edition over 10 times now. It’s brilliant. However, if you’re not sure or a bit nervous check out the various videos on YouTube. One thing I’ll say is DO NOT feel the need to sign up or enter your Email address etc. If you look at EVERY option on every screen you can go all the way through without signing up. It’s really very easy.
