[SOLVED] Best way to clone windows drive to new sad?

Any good free software you could recommend. A friend suggested Macrium reflect. Dunno if better software is out there. Thanks! Title should be cloning windows to new ssd damn auto correct 🥵

Free versions - Macrium Reflect, Minitoo Partition Wizard.
Depending on your SSD, you may get free cloning software with it (Samsung Data migration, Intel Data Migration, Crucial gives free version of Acronis True Image).

Does the Samsung software only work on Samsung to Samsung or would it work random to Samsung as well.

I'd recommend the cloning occur outside of the OS being cloned, i.e., use system A with Macrium Reflect installed to clone the drive containing OS of system B to a third destination drive.

You mean install the macrium on separate SSD to one I'm cloning with windows to the third party SSD I'm transferring to?

Target drive has to be Samsung. Source can be any manufacturer drive.
