I've had a Quasar VV-2007 come into my possession, and I'm wanting to hook up an old PlayStation 2 with component to get the best picture (I have a HDTV, but using that the picture is all muddy). My composite cables work fine, but of course I would prefer component if I have the choice.
Problem is, the only inputs on the TV are for composite, and it's only the yellow and white cables. What I'm looking for is some adapter/splitter that lets me split the yellow composite video input into the three I need for component. I can live with mono audio, but I would also like something to split up that white connection into two for stereo audio.
I'm not sure if the TV even supports stereo audio should I find a way to get it, nor am I sure if it supports the 480i resolution the component cables would allow. The information on the TV has been pretty limited in my searching, only found a manual that answered none of my questions, so if this is all a lost cause anyway feel free to say.
Sorry if I explained this improperly, my knowledge on these displays is lacking to say the least.
