I purchased the NZXT X61 CPU cooler for my haswell-e 5820k. I have a define R5 case and its a 280mm rad. so I have to remove the top pcs of the case to mount it. the thing is that they don't provide dust filters on the top, they have them in the front and bottom but not the top? has anyone found a good solution for this?

the radiator fans are both blowing out? I thought one would blow in and one would blow out. but that makes sense. just the open area on the sides of the rad that aren't covering the case opening that will allow dust in.

the dust in the computer is not from dust falling on the top.

My guess is that you have more exhaust fans then intake fans, causing air/dust to come into the case through every crack/hole. if you have more intake fans than exhaust then the air is blowing out of all the cracks/holes and all the air entering the case goes through the filters.

as far as intake to exhaust goes, should the side door be intake or exhaust? as well as the two in the front? one intake and one exhaust? the one in the back of the case is exhaust.
