Hi, I'm looking for solutions to mount a 40mm fan over motherboard VRMs. I'm using watercooling with a 240mm radiator a fair length away from the motherboard so air flow over the board is now utterly awful - my VRMs spiked to 90 degrees yesterday. As much as I'd love to use it to grill my sandwiches, I want to get some airflow so it doesn't die on me. I've heard of people using zip ties to attach it to various places, but that doesn't really seem good for the long term. The same with double sided tape.
Ideally I'd want to set up 2 or 3 40mm fans over the VRM sink and secure them nicely, can anyone come up with a creative way to implement it? Or are zip ties my best option?
Thanks!
