So I just received my asus rog swift pro pg248qp that runs at 500hz and went to set it up and plugged it into the HDMI Pass through Port of my Elgato HD60 Pro and no dice, HDMI 2.0 just wont run past 240 hz so Monitor wont turn on.

If I plug directly into my GPU via the latest display port, 500hz no issues but now I have the problem of not being connected to my capture card.

Can anyone recommend a solution where I can play at 500hz but still stream on my HD60Pro at 60 FPS? I was thinking if I still kept the direct connection with display port to the GPU, and then also run an HDMI 2.0 cable from my GPU into the HDMI input on my Capture card- would that still work? If it did would it affect performance having 2 output cables Displayport and HDMI running from my 4090 GTX?

Any recommendations really appreciated!

As followed from how I did it; You can connect an HDMI from your 4090 to the HDMI IN port on your HD60 Pro, Mirror the displays via NVCP or the Windows Settings and that's basically it. Just make a Video Capture Source in OBS based off of what you prefer & that's basically it as well.........................any further question do reply about it......................

I really appreciate the response. How you described it is exactly what I was thinking to do.

When I actually did it (I use streamlabs obs on a 2nd streaming computer) in streamlabs my stream just shows my gaming computer's desktop and when I open any programs it will not stream it. So ill have a game open but it will be showing what is underneath the game... weird.. even if what I am playing is on top of my desktop it will still stream my desktop.

I am wondering about mirroring the display. I never had to mess with that before, I dont see an option in Nvidia control panel to mirror the display.

Any idea what you think is going on? I never had this issue before.

Thanks in advance

Did a little research and resolved the problem. It did have to do with the cloning of monitors but I did a search in the help section of streamlabs and it walked me through it.

Thanks again
