Best way to switch between mini-Displayport and (DVI or mini-hdmi) inputs to DVI output

Scenario is that I am trying to connect two computers to one monitor.

Computer 1: mini-displayport output
computer 2: DVI or mini-hdmi output

monitor: DVI input and VGA input (1920x1200)

I'm currently connecting computer 2 directly to monitor via DVI and computer 1 via a mini-displayport to VGA adapter. Unfortunately, image quality on computer 1 is quite blurry (I'm guessing VGA doesn't work well at 1920x1200?)

I'm hoping to improve things by going all digital. The displayport to DVI adapter is no issue, but I am finding it tough to find inexpensive (as in less than $40) DVI switchers that can be shipped to me within a week (I'm in the US). (Best I've found is http://www.amazon.co.uk/HQ-2-Port-DVI-I-Switch-Silver/dp/B000GTLFS6, but the shipping costs or time are prohibitive).

For whatever reason, DVI switchers seem to be much more expensive/less available than HDMI switchers.

Anyway, is there a better combination of switchers/adapters I can use? Ideally, keeping under $40 for all adapters/switchers.

Thanks!
