Hi all!

So I finally got all my computer parts arrived through the mail https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4pxq8r

And now I want to start building my computer. I was reading my motherboard may need an update to support my CPU but there are so many to choose from. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-B550-TOMAHAWK/support#bios do I just choose the latest one? And would it be best to install the CPU and the rest of the components before flashing the BIOS? Or just plug in the power supply and flash the BIOS then proceed to install the rest of the components (RAM, CPU, GPU etc.)

Any help on this would be much appreciated!

CPU:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Motherboard:

MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK Gaming Motherboard (AMD AM4, DDR4, PCIe 4.0, SATA 6Gb/s, M.2, USB 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI/DP, ATX, AMD Ryzen 5000 Series processors)

Install everything as normal. I doubt the board needs flashing since it's been so long and most likely mobo not old stock. Can always use flash back with everything installed if cpu is unsupported but lets cross that bridge if it happens.

And yes the latest bios version applies all versions before it. Asrock are the only ones that seem to do it incrementally.
