Best way to utilize hard drives

Hi

I have 2 500gb hard drives and I am looking to do a fresh install of windows. Can anyone tell me the best method to format/partition each hard drive? I am not looking to change the hard drives inside my laptop. I use a late 2011 Dell XPS L702X. I would ideally want a full striped volume on each disk but I cannot install windows 7 on a dynamic disk. Because both disks are also evenly spaced, i can install windows 7 on a 50gb partition, stripe the volume (raid 0), but I will have 50gb free space left on the second hard disk. And I don't really want more than 2 partitions, because I won't know what to do with the third. I would like it if I could fully utilize both hard drives and keep it under 1 partition. They are both just normal 5200rpm hard drives, 500gb each.

Personally, I would just leave them as two individual drives. The C for OS, applications, and some games, and set up the other one to take all of your music/video/games that don't fit on C.
