[SOLVED] Best wifi adapter

Hi guys,
so im planning to get a new wifi adapter, could you guys suggest which is the best adapter right now in terms of speed? ideal price could be around $70.

a side note: i have my graphics card mounted vertically with a cooler master holder, so a PCIe wifi card isnt really an option.

How fast is your internet as most usb adabpter (the only real alternative to pcie in terms of wifi) will do above 100 mbps easily, and you don't need to pay 70$ for example this one is 20$ and does 600 mbps, although this may be limited by your internet, although wifi is always going to have latency no matter what adapter you use, and so an optimal solution is wired in for most people powerline, which uses your houses wiring, you plug it into a wall socket near your router, plug in ethernet from plug to router then do the same thing near your computer, except plugging the Ethernet cable into your computer, that is more expensive but is more reliable than wifi i've found, although you may be bottlenecked by the wiring in your home, my house is an old british victorian terrace so the i'm limited to 70mbps but my wiring is many years old and most people would probably get better results.

Some of that would depend on your WiFi router and which WiFi protocols and speeds it supports.

Basically they are divided by frequency, 2.4 and 5GHz so protocols have to be compatible.
All legal WiFi adapters are limited to 100mW output power so will also perform pretty close. I like using USB adapters with an antenna because of practicability and better reception. They are mostly plug and play with modern OSs and don't need separate drivers.
