Arent the Range extender the same ? what is the difference between WIFI access points and range extenders ?

looking at them , they both have LAN+WIFI the only difference is that the extenders plug directly on the wall.

Please Give me good models for ~$100 each . I can do the Wiring myself .
I use Ubiquiti UniFI units. The AC-Lite -- https://store.ui.com/collections/wireless/products/unifi-ac-lite is available for less than $100 each. If you read up on Ubiquiti, you will see references to a "Controller" This is just software available as a download from Ubiquiti that manages their hardware. Three WIFI extenders are not going to provide very good performance. If your house is that big or spread out, you probably should investigate hiring someone to install ethernet cabling and WIFI access points.

APs will be wired to your network and broadcast wifi. Extenders will listen to your wifi source and repeat it. Whenever you can use Aps and avoid extenders!! Wifi is only half duplex, extenders can cut your bandwidth in half if they receive and transmit on the same radio.
