I think you mean Virtual Machine? You can run different versions of Windows in a Virtual Machine, like VMWare, which you can install on top of whatever operating system you have on your PC already. Keep in mind that you have to install the VM tools/driver software inside of the OS that you put in the Virtual Machine. The Virtual Machine will then let you access the hardware.

Understand this though, doing this for gaming can be good if you are looking to play older games that are dependent on older versions of Windows. Newer games will suffer from reduced performance due to limitations of the VM software and its access to the hardware. If you have a newer PC, you might benefit more from a dual boot setup, depending on your needs, or...
