Hi all,
Given that my Spectre is materially leaving me (battery almost exhausted and few damages to the body) I'm looking for a replacement with a budget of around 2000 €.
I would like to stay in the 2-in-1 world and it has been some time since the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 caught my attention, but I constantly have that feeling that despite the catchy design, it is not what I really would like to get, and I'm here to seek your guidance.

The priorities and characteristics I'm looking for are:
- Intel i7, 16 GB of RAM, 516 GB SSD (minimum specs). I usually work parallelly with Python/R/SQL and various Excel sheets on 1/2 monitors and I would like to buy something that could keep up for 4/5 years at least. Soft video editing: As a GoPro user I also sometimes edit videos and photos (an SD card reader is indeed a plus for the connections point)
- Colorful 14" display: I use it to watch a ton of Netflix when out of work but as I use monitors to work I don't want anything too big. Also, as I usually watch it in bed the touchscreen and convertible options are something I would like to keep having. Also is it worth it to sacrifice battery life for an OLED display?
- 1080p webcam as I'm frequently on call
- Design: I'm quite a fan of the sharp-metal designs (I have the old Spectre x360 with the diamond-cut edges)
- Display ratio: 16:10 or 3:2 would be a plus, but not necessary
- Connections: 2 type-c + 1 USB + head/mic jack works fine for me as I normally use type-c to connect to monitors (the Surface proprietary charger is indeed one of my main points of doubt)
