Best z370 for overclocking

Hi I have a z370 ultra gaming v1.0 running at 5.2 8700k at 1.37 volt.
Im thinking of getting a high-end motherboard do you thing I'll will gain a lot not just in higher clocks but overall as in getting 1720 in cinbeanch with dose not seem that high if I clock to 5.3 it will go to 1780 but it has to run on 1.4v to get to that.
And 5.4 is not very stable

Every CPU had slightly different potential, and, likely each motherboard would have slightly different results with assorted CPUs as well...

a stable 5.4 GHz OC on an 8700K is likely a proverbial rainbow pipedream (I've not seen any reviews of any 8700K or Z370 board in one year that obtained 5.4 GHz, which should be quite telling), but, if the extra 1 fps at some 1080P game or a few points and/or top spot on some Uberbenchmark are important, it's your money to burn.
