Best Z97 board

Just want to know what the best Z97 board is!

Also needs to support 2400mhz ddr3 ram speeds

Is it not a question of which ones you can get for your budget?, and then we can tell you the best from that.

Else the answer will be the UBER SNIPER SUPER ALPHA KILL board from some manufacturer or other, which may be £500 and unavailable.

Good luck finding a range of z97 motherboards, they are getting really rare.
Asrock z97 Extreme 6/3.1 iirc is mine.

There are very very few 'bad' boards now-a-days, they all perform basically the same, so what you are looking for are features, what features do you need/want, and power phases and cooling for them if you are OCing. Other than that they are basically the same.

Just has to support the 2400 MHz ram and just be great for over clocking! Would be good if it had a pump header on it as well although I’m sure most of them do.

So go onto scan and start doing comparisons near the top of your budget, or pcpartpicker, and filter by your requirements.

And buying "used" adds another layer of issues.
A motherboard that is for sale today may be gone tomorrow.

It would be better for you to research and find several boards, that are available in your market, for your budget, that are for sale right now.
Then, we out here could point you towards the best one out of the bunch.

Rather than..."the best one ever!" (that is no longer for sale)

this is very true but I have been very lucky and found a brand new Asus z97 a board at an amazing price so will be grabbing that only been taken out the box for pictures
