For some unknown reason, I was under the impression that you wanted to SLI. There is no motherboard under 80 GBP that is capable of that.

The only other reason for a Z97 would seem to be overclocking. The trouble with cheap Z97 boards is that their parts and power phases tend to be low end to get to the price. Of the dozen or so board under 80GBP, there is not one that I would want to use for overclocking.

At that price, you get four or fewer power phases analog or hybrid control, and likely without a doubler. VRM and other heatsinks can be sketchy and/or only vaguely attached to the motherboard.

My first response should have been 'What do you want to do with it." Sorry for a terse and somewhat snotty reply.
