Sonny's is awfully tempting for a company concerned about power usage x dozens or hundreds of seats, but I think the performance might be lacking in some applications (e.g. Access). I chose sadams04 over shortstuff for the added performance and smaller size.

Shortstuff's build will be almost as fast (unless you're counting graphics performance) and far more efficient. A 65W APU makes a lot more sense in an office machine than a 100W unlocked APU - unless you have some specific use case where you need the extra 128 shaders for your "office work" (ahem a little casual gaming during your "coffee break"). Shortstuff's build also integrates a stronger, more efficient power supply, for further power gains and long term reliability.

Sonny's build would probably be fine for your typical office build, it's cheap, and it would definitely be low-power. But I can't bring myself to spend $60 on an AM1 chip without having something specific in mind. For example if I was going to build a low power machine like that, I'd try to spend a little extra and make it fanless.

That is all true, however I also looked around my work area, and the amount of space I (and coworkers) have, and gave more weight to the size than others might. None of these are "bad" builds. I'd take any of them over the E8200 I've got at work now.

Understood. If I was to build something and the requirement was ITX, I'd use shortstuff's APU choice and drop it into a board+chassis similar to sadam's choice. I personally felt that the choice of APU was more representative of each build's "design target" than the board and box, so I had to give him the nod regardless of form factor.

With that being said I think if the 7600 was on the market that would have been the go-to choice.
