AMD Phenom II X4 955 $120.00 for now, until bulldozer release
total: $2316
total with second gpu: $2915*
*second gpu not needed unless using 3 monitor 3d surround setup
people are skeptical of the bulldozer, this is my take.. high-end mobo's are already being sold to accommodate them, AMD CANNOT FAIL! they know their very future relies on the bulldozers success. I AM, and forever will be an AMD fan. they will not fail.
for less than $400 more, this system blows away the competition and is future proofed for a few years at least (am3+) and is 3d ready.
if gaming, speed, awesome airflow, AMD, Nvidia, 3D and overclocking be your thang...dis' be it!
Alienware Beware! hehe
it would be easy to adjust this to under $2000, but for a few bucks more you get tons more bang.
