looking for tips on how to clean side panel windows without scratching the window.

Soft, lint-free or microfiber cloth and window cleaner that is formulated to be safe on plastics. If you can't find window cleaner, use a weak vinegar solution (1 cup vinegar to a gallon of clean water). Just be sure to dry it thoroughly so there's no streaks.
