I got an email from "Vivendi" - sounds like a frikkin Italian car company.
Shouldn't it have been Dynamix?

Anyway, looks like we can still play MP til October 5th (10/5 to you crazy
yanks) at the earliest.

Thought it might be of interest and I apologise for posting on topic.

BETA PROGRAM ENDS SEPTEMBER 29
The public's response to the Tribes: Vengeance Beta has been terrific. By
early September it had become one of the Internet's top 20 PC multiplayer
games (Source: GameSpy) and had generated more than 10,000 forum posts!

Our thanks goes out to the more than 100,000 testers who made this a
tremendously successful event. It's been a blast playing with you online.


MULTIPLAYER DEMO NOW AVAILABLE
To tide you over till the game's release on October 5th we've released the
Tribes®: Vengeance Multiplayer Demo (480 MB). The multiplayer demo contains
updated code and the four beta maps.

The Dynamix is dead. Long live the Dynamix.

No, but more seriously... Sierra and Vivendi Universal are the sole owners
of the license, as Dynamix died after T2. Vivendi is also responsible for
games like AVP2. You can see the list at vugames.com.

Their "demo" is basically the MP beta, with some of the bugs fixed. So it
should be the same, basically.
