ok, so basically ive been looking to upgrade to the new 6th generation cpus from intel but cant decide (bearing in mind im on a budget) whether to get an I3 6100 and a ASRock Intel H170A X1 skylake DDR4 motherboard or an i5 6400 and a MSI Intel H110M PRO VD Skylake Micro ATX Motherboard, i just dont know whether to get better motherboard but worst cpu or better cpu and worst motherboard, its really frustrating me and it would be great if someone could tell me what to do, thanks:)

Solution
The cheapest H110 is £46 on EBuyer (probably the same on Scan) and the cheapest H170 is £24 more at £70. I will just offer the advice that there are two parts people often cut back on PSU and Motherboard. They aren't often the most exciting part but everything else connects to them and they are worth a decent investment.

The board recommended by Shreyasforrescue is a decent buy https://www.scan.co.uk/products/msi-h170-gaming-m3-intel-h170-s-1151-ddr4-satae-m2-(pcie-sata)-2-way-crossfire-killer-lan-usb-31-gen
