better for gaming i5 4460 or fx 8350

Around Black Friday/Christmas I'm getting parts for my computer and I'm wondering what would be better for gaming and simple editing. Any help would be appreciated.

Gaming, without question the 4460. Whereas in most editing tasks there's an advantage to using the FX chip over the i5. Now, are your editing tasks in any way professional where rendering 1-2 minute productivity delta make a real difference in the day? If not, ignore the FX chip entirely.
