Better gaming performances

Currently I got a laptop with an intel pentium dual core CPU running at 2 GHZ..
Would I be able to play games way better when I buy a CPU like this?
Or should I save up money and buy a new laptop?

other important specs

4 gb ram
AMD Mobility Radeon HD5470 512mb graphics card(worth upgrading this?)

Its the graphics processor that matters when playing games. Most likely the 5470 you have is not able to be replaced. If you are interested in getting into gaming, a desktop would be a lot cheaper, but a new laptop is is order.

I looked it up and it seems you were right about the graphics card not being able to get replaced, I guess ill start saving up.
