Is the Asus Radeon Strix R9 380 4GB DDR5 better than R9 280?
And will the R9 380 fit the Carbide Series® Air 240 case?

It's not really any better - more of a slightly different but equivalent in horsepower.

The 380 is more or less an overclocked 285. It will perform better than a 280 but the difference is quite small.
