Better GPU but more LAG??

Hello guys my specs are :
8 gb ram
240 ssd
gpu: nvidia 1050 ti 4gb
cpu: i5-6400 2.7
monitor 144 hz

i have reinstaleld and updated all the drivers + reinstalled windows
so i have very low fps than usual in games i tested , i noticed that my old video card actually performed better than this one(my old was Nvidia 750 Ti 2GB


the games i tested were..

The Witcher 3
Gta V
League of Legends
CSGO
Fortnite
Far cry 4

I was really suprised when i noticed i get around 70-100 fps on csgo with 1050ti while i was around 200 with 750 ti ? please help me i cant play games like that

Sometimes game automatically adjust to the hardware that you have maby with the 750Ti you had the settings turned down and the when you upgraded to the 1050ti the games automatically switched to higher settings.

You did connect the monitor to the gpu and not the motherboard?

nope is not from that i tried all the settings on the games is the same.

yes its connected to the gpu with DVI
