Better gpu or better cpu

That's a tough one. The Pentium G4560 is arraprently a fantastic budget CPU for gaming but some games really get good boosts from having a quad core like the i5-7500. That said the RX 480 is reasonably more powerful then the RX 470. If you can i would save up a little more to get the RX 480 and i5 7500 so you don't need to upgrade for longer in the future but if you really need to pick between the two i would personally take the RX 470/i5-7500 because it would help in any CPU intensive games not to mention the RX 480 is only about 10-15% better according to UserBenchmark. The choice is yours tho. Hope this helps :)

Get Better Balanced combination of CPU and GPU to avoid bottlenecking either

i5 7500 - RX 470 - is Better, because it is more balanced
Pentium G4560 - RX 480 - Bad, if you take this you will get CPU bottlenecking and system freezes due to CPU 100% utilization and mostly idle GPU

Remember your system effective speed will be = MINIMUM_OF(CPU, GPU, DISK, RAM), thats why highly balanced system is good

This seems very unlogical to me.... A Z170 Board + non hyperthreaded Pentium. Not to mention the RX 470 is about $10-20 more and offers 30%+ better performance over the GTX 1050 Ti. A RX 470 and i5-7500 would crush this build in all games and applications with a much stronger CPU and GPU. Only reason to take a GTX 1050 Ti would be if you have a very weak PSU or you specifically want CUDA cores if you do any workstation apps on the side to utilise it.

It's illogical to you because you are thinking about the short game. instant qualitative gratification. he is going to spend a relatively little amount of money and get a well sustainable pc, with a good skin and backbone being the case and mobo and from there he has a solid upgrade path allowing him to progress small pieces at a time for smaller portions of money to ultimately obtain a "high-end" rig. nothing in what I listed is meant to be a long term solution yet make the end user pleased at the result per dollar spent while keeping a low budget and providing a framework for the future.

If both the i5-7500 + RX 470 is the same price as the Pentium G4560 + RX 480, I would definitely get the i5-7500 + RX 470.

The performance gap between the Pentium G4560 and the i5-7500 is huge compared to the gap between the RX 470 and the RX 480. Getting the weaker G4560, you'd lose ~20% performance compared with the powerful i5-7500. Getting the weaker RX 470, you'd only lose ~8% performance compared with the powerful RX 480.

Price/performance wise, the i5-7500 + RX 470 is the logical choice.

Hey bro do you think the 7400 is worth it?

If your budget is really tight then it won't make a major difference in most games but i would try grab the 7500 if you can, it's usually about ~$20 more in most stores and offers ~10% more performance but this might not equate ot much in games maybe 2-3 FPS at most.

Actually the reason i asked this is because the gpu i'm going for is sooooooo damn expensive in my country. It's around 188. So i was just askin but i think i'll just go with the 7500. Here's my specs if you wanted to know.

dont get 1 x8gb stick get 2x4 gb sticks that way you can utilize dual channel... also dont forget you need a hard drive or some kind of storage solution, intake and exhaust fans, and I would recommend a small aftermarket air cooler over intels (Im not even sure if they box their chips with a cooler anymore, I know the K's dont come with one but regardless they are kinda trashy anyway)

Actually i want to get 1 8GB stick so i can upgrade to 16GB in the future. As for my hard drive i have an old 200gb HDD so that's good enough for me. Intels i5 7500 comes with a CPU Cooler so that's good enough for me i don't intend to overclock. Oh ya one more thing the RX 470 here is 200 Dollars and the rx 480 is 252 dollars in my country so if i buy the rx 480 i really have to go with the pentium g4560. That's why i have to choose wisely.
