I have been searching for a laptop for my upcoming studies. I will be studying medicine, and wont therefore need anything that will be able to handle any tough 3D or CAD programs, I also have a desktop at home. What I need is something that has reasonable performance that I can use while Im at school. Ive been looking at the Acer Swift 1 (N5000, 8GB, 256GB SSD), and find it a compelling alternative thanks to its great battery life, and Im not too concerned about the Pentium processor, I do think it will be enough for my needs.
Is there any other laptop at the price point of the Swift 1 that can be worth considering, or could it be the best bet?
