I was recently gifted a GTX 1080TI FE by a family member who ran 2 of them in SLI. Since support for SLI is disappearing he decided to give me one. I was was running a Powercolor 5700(not XT). Obviously owning 2 gpu's of this quality is worthless so which one is better to keep for longevity?
I wont be purchasing another video card for 2-3 years

Current set up
Ryzen 5 3600
16g DDR4
650w EVGA
MSI Tomahawk B450MB

Definately keep the 1080ti because it's better than the RX 5700 for gaming, giving you more than 40% performance boost. I used a ASUS DirectCU II GTX 580 that was looked after in the beginning of January for a month, so I can tell you higher end GPU's are certainly long-lasting.
Hope this helps!
