Better Motherboard h97 or z97?

I have the option to pick up one of two motherboards. I can get an older (but brand new) z97s SLI or a new AsRock h97 Anniversary. I was leaning towards the SLI as I have a 980 and thought I may want to SLI in the future. My CPU is not overclockable so that isnt a concern. These are the same prices for me and are the only two options I have, so I would just like advice between those two boards. (my CPU is a i5-4660 if that matters)

Honestly I would avoid SLI. There are some issues that come with it. And it is really only necessary in high resolution gaming. I have a single GPU and I play highest settings at 1440p and get great 70+fps.

If I had the choice of those I'd think about which matches my build since both are really good. Then I'd look to see how many fan headers there are on each. Also, warranty the same and price?
