Better processor, ram and mobo or a little less powerful but with a decent graphics card..

So im on a budget here and I need to make something work, I have a very old pc and I need to upgrade pretty much everything, would it be better to buy Ryzen 3 1300x, 2 x 4GB RAM, MSI A320M mobo and gtx 1050 2 gb/// Current graphics card is Nvidia gt 640 (yes very old)

OR

Ryzen 5 1600, 2 x 4GB RAM, MSI A320M mobo and then save more money for a GTX 1050, which could last for months since I am still in school. My main use of this pc would be gaming, so could I play games like Fortnite, CS:GO, Rocket League etc..with Ryzen 5 1600 and a GT 640 with a decent FPS for a few months until I get a new graphics card or would I be better off getting all of the components

I'm not sure you would see any improvement when keeping your old card, but overall R1600 is better option as it will last much longer. Plus, maybe (just maybe) by the time you get enough money for the GPU, you'll find that you can get much better card then now for same money, as now GPU prices are crazy. One thing to change is motherboard - you really want B350 mobo for R1600, even if that would be cheap one.

Seeing as how this probably has to last for at least 3 years I would opt for the 1600. I would then save for a 1050 Ti 4GB. You and the 1600 will be sorely disappointed with the low end performance. Only the 1030 is weaker. The problem here is that Ryzen doesn't have integrated gfx chips in their CPUs. I would instead look to the Ryzen 5 2400G.
