Looking for/Need:

Light weight
Sturdy Construction (idealy metal chasis)
Long Battery life
I5 or greater
8gb of Ram (heavy Chrome user)
Windows OS
Number Pad
SSD 256gb

Don't Need

Cd drive
Touch screen
dedicated GPU

For the money I found the Flex 3 on Newegg at $499
I figure I can add an SSD for $60 and still be in good shape
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=0N6-00YB-00076

For a Sum total of $560 is there a better deal? Any reason that the flex 4 is more superior?
Thanks

This is a bit of a sidegrade to that Lenovo:

https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-NVIDIA-Windows-E5-575G-53VG/dp/B01DT4A2R4/

It weighs about a half pound more, isn't metal, and you'd be paying for the dvd and dedicated graphics you didn't want. But it does have a 6 cell battery vs a 3 on that Lenovo, and claims a 12 hour battery life vs 3. Not sure whether you're prioritizing weight or battery life. It also has the 256 GB SSD already installed which saves some hassle. Other than that, same processor and RAM, but it's Acer and some dislike the brand. Not available for international shipping either.

Wow that's alot of computer for a little money.

Most laptops start out basically the same, then add features. So the Lenovo went with Touch and Flex, the Acer went with SSD and Battery and a GPU. Similar price, you just pay for different features. Trick is finding the specific combination of features you're looking for.
