Better than GTX 650 for $150 or less

Ive looked around, and I can't find anything thats really much better at all for the price range. I got my GTX 650 for $70, so I figured there'd be something significantly better for over double the price. I'd really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Significantly better cards? No, not really, you're jumping from 40 FPS on high to 40 on ultra.
The closest significantly better card? R9 280 for ~$180.
