Question Between Boox and Kindle, Which one is more durable?

I live in Thailand and I would like to buy an e-reader, but I cannot make up my mind whether to choose Boox or Kindle. Which one is more durable?
If I use Kindle, Do I have to buy ebooks from Amazon only?

Never heard of Boox, but my Kindles have been rock solid and sturdy.

Long battery life (use every day, charge maybe twice a month), has been dropped many times, etc, etc.

And no, you are not limited to Amazon only. Probably 1/3 of the books currently on my Kindle are Not Amazon.

Bought Nov 2021. Used almost every day since.

By the way, Boox is a reputable e-reader from China.
