Between these 2 boards witch should I Choose.

Hello Everyone and thanks you for your time.
I need a little bit of help choosing witch board to keep for my new build and of course I want it to be somewhat future proof for the next few years. Let me know witch one do you prefer and why?. Here are the 2 motherboards I have:

IMO:
When choosing between two hardware platforms with future in mind, I would go for the one that has more chances to get upgrades in future. In this case, new future CPUs are the factor. X99 uses 2011 socket and Maximus uses 1151 socket. Will there be any new socket 2011 CPUs in future? Will there be any new socket 1151 CPUs in future? Don't know definite answer to either question, but it *seems* that answer to latter question may be positive. Based on that, I would choose Maximus.

What CPU are you going to be using?

I need to buy a new CPU for either one. between i7 6700K for the 1151 socket or (for the i7 7700K I need to update the bios). And the i7 6800K for the x99 socket.
