I can't either put crystals in the bag nor embellish equipment (I have level 3
skill). Everytime I drag a crystal to the bag, nothing happens. Everytime I
left click on a charm capable object, it has X's in the item slots but none are
open. Is the game bugged, or does anybody have any other ideas what is wrong??

Before dragging a crystal to the bag, move the bag so it does not
overlap the main interface window.

I don't play the game, and know if this is the same as with the Divine
Divinity rune system. But if it is, you first have to *open* the item
into which you want to insert something. A new square should appear on
the screen, with a decoartive ornament, which contains a number of free
spaces (as many as the item is supposed to have sockets). Soem of them
are open, others closed by a cross, which means, you haven't yet reached
the level to fill these in. Drag the rune/crystal into one of the open
free spots, and the spot should be filled.

Ah, Information. A property, too valuable these days, to give it away,
just so, at no cost.

OK, but I have 3 skill points into this but even level one(1 charm) items are
closed by the cross. Unless it does not correspond one to one with the skill
points....Thanks

In Beyond Divinity the crosses will always be closed! They will not
be open to show how many charms can be used (which is what Divine
Divinity did). You just have to go ahead and try to put the charm
on top of a closed X.

This works similary to the gem bag. You just click the gem on top
of one of the five spaces and it should pop into place (but you can
remove them later if you want).
