I am a proud owner of an Acer aspire R15 n16p2. Don't bother looking it up because it only exists in my hands apparently. I dropped this laptop on its side and the screen shattered and it wont show any signs of life when I try to power it on. The only light that appears is the one that glows at all times when the battery is charged on or off. I tested the charger, and battery with my multi-meter and they were working so I assumed it was the motherboard. I purchased a new motherboard and installed it with some new ram, just because I wanted more, but this didn't work either. The laptop still shows no signs of life when I try to power it on.
At this point I thought I should try to turn it on with my multi-meter, but I'm not too familiar with laptop motherboards and how they work, I know how to power on a desktop motherboard without using the button, but this looks foreign in comparison.
I know a new laptop is around the same price as the cost is going to be to repair everything, but I do not care.
