Bezel-less Monitor, will it ever come?

There are hundreds of threads, thousands of youtube videos, reviewing the best gaming monitors.

Discussions tend to hover around input lag, response time, gsync, etc...

But one thing I consider every time I buy a monitor, is the bezel size.. Thick fat ugly bezels, no matter the quality of the image, just puts me off on buying the monitor.

Have any of you ever heard of a truly bezel-less monitor planned for production? I know that that would dramatically increase the risk of breaking as the bezel acts as an impact shield, especially during shipping... But i would be willing to pay the increased price that such a screen would come with. I've been sticking to LG for now seeing as their 23ea and 27in screens have ultra thin bezels (although the image doesnt start at the bezel, but 1cm in) with dual and triple monitor setups, i can only imagine how beautiful a truly bezel-less multiple monitor setup would look like...

That's not true, they have done it for lcd tv's, OLEDs, and mobile phones. All we are missing is a monitor for gaming.

My question is if companies like BenQ, or ASUS, or LG have in their plans to R&D this for PC monitors.

And the system to hold the screen in place is easy, since LCD screens have layers anyways, all that would be needed is a more rigid back layer.
