So the problem is that I can't hit 144fps.
I watched a benchmark of the game with worse cpu.

I had the same video quality settings
yet he was able to hit 144fps even 160fps+
and I can't hit even 90fps

My specs:

I5 8400
2x8GB 2666MHZ
Nvidia 445.87

Your PC isn't really high end, approaching budget really. Try dropping settings? They also have a 6700K and are on medium.

No bro even in 2016, it was low to mid range gpu. The high ends would be gtx 1070 ti or 1080 and above. The video you gave didnt state what graphic settings he was on.

In the video he has the CPU overclocked, lightly,to 4.2Ghz on all cores all the times, your CPU hits 4Ghz maximum on one core maybe on two while it will run at around 3.8 on all cores.
