Bf2 problems !! vista

can i run bf2 on my pc? i have vista 12 gig ram. 64 bit. downloaded everything. problem is when i try to load game screen go's black then back to desk top. can anyone help?

Did you try compatibility mode? If not try right clicking on the icon before you launch the game, but after right clicking the icon, click properties, then look at compatibility, then tell it to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2 and see if it works any better.

you only have to run in admin mode, it runs fine in vista and windows 7

tried running in admin mode no luck also tried compatibility with service pack 2 still not able to get on , my screen go's black then back to desk top.just ordered windows 7 maybe i'll have some luck there .

sounds like a driver issue try looking on the battlefield 2 forums there are loads of threads with this problem
