Anybody running 3 monitors playing BF3? Ive already built my pc and the last piece of equiment needed is the video cards. I've been waiting to hear from others before I make the purchase. It seems that AMD hd6970 2gb crossfire was going to be my choice prior to the relase of the game. After reading all that I have on the boards etc with AMD Im a bit worried and Im starting to sway towards Nvidea..

What scares me is setting up the 3 monitor system to work properly. I did all the research on Eyefinity and none on 3d vision which is what I think Nvidea calls it.

If you have any experience with this please post and help me decide.

Thanks

Dan

my single radeon 5770 plays the game on high across 3 monitors with zero problems. so if amd has any problems with multi monitor on this game i don't see it.

amds newest catalyst driver suite makes multi monitor easier than ever. takes me like 5 clicks to get it setup in proper order. then i save the profile. so i can switch between 3 independant screens or a eyefinity setup with one click. works great.

me for playing bf3 on ultra accross 3 screen and to not have a stutering effect around 60fps solid
you will need at least a gtx580 or a 6970 2gb crossfire the 5770 will work but with not all the eye candy enable and i have no problem of any sort from running in eyefinity but youll need an active displayport adapter that cost about 50 150$ depending on the quality (its a thing you don need with nvidia if i understand right )

Seriously? If what your telling me is great news because I bought a used 5770 card for 75 bucks on ebay while I made my descision on where and with whom I was going to spend the big money with.
