so my problem started in bf3 and apparently has moved to bf4. my system specs
motherboard: asus m4a89gtd pro usb3
cpu: 1090t amd phenom II @3.5ghz
gpu: gigabyte 7970ghz @stock
psu: rosewill rbr 1000 watt
hdd: samsung F1 1tb 7200rpm
ram: 8gb gskill ripjaws 1600mhz
os: windows 7 ultimate
now that should be more than enough to power through bf3 max settings constant 60fps.
at one point it did do just that.after doing my regular reinstall of windows to keep it clean it just started getting terrible performance compared to what it used to get 60+ constant. i did some searching around come to find out bf3 is only using about 50% of my gpu a majority of the time. ive tried latest drivers older drivers beta drivers you name it i tried it. i tried reinstalling windows multiple times no dice.my cpu load is fine my temps are fine ram is fine everything is in the case nice and secure etc, etc. to say i tried it all is an understatement i literally tried pretty much everything to no avail. mind you these are the only two games of mine that have this problem. so i get bf4 thinking it might just be bf3 well same problem occuring. now because afterburner does not want to work with bf4 i cant say 100% that its not utillising my gpu correctly ,but regardless my system should not be dropping into the 30's in fps in bf4 at all.when i look away from action its fine and sometimes during it its fine but a majority of the time my average is 30-to48fps. it doesnt matter the map resolution graphics settings or in bf4 case internal res scaling i use it acts just the same. i would not being asking for help unless i really could not find a solution on my own. but i really need some help here i have no idea what else to do. i dont know whats causing the issue but if anybody can help me i would greatly appreciate it i dont even want to play them anymore because i know i should be getting way better performance and the crappy part is i bought both day one with premium. needless to say ive put alot of money into the series and want to be able to play them the way i built my system to play them.
