Bf4 huge frame drops

my fps drops from 100 to like 25 every few seconds. is there any fix for this? ive heard windows 8.1 works but i dont havr the money for it. specs: Fx-6300,gtx 760 2gb 8gb ram

Seems like bad drivers or or cpu throtteling down itself. How is temps in you case/room.

Could be bad drivers, a game bug, or just plain bad coding. Apparently BF4 under Windows 7 has been having a lot of issues, I guess MS threw a ton of money at DICE to cripple Windows 7 performance in BF4 to try to drive up Windows 8.1 sales, or they simply decided not to bother testing in a Windows 7 environment to save time and/or money. In that case all you can do is hope for a patch or driver update that fixes these problems.

LOL! There are issues in every version of Windows for BF4. The memory leak is at the top of the list, which could be what you're experiencing.

Also, MS offers a free 90 day evaluation of Windows 8.1 Enterprise. You can dual boot and find out that Windows 8 has just as many issues as Windows 7.

.....just saving you the disappointment ahead of time.
