Hello, I have had this problem for a long time, and I have found a solution. Whenever I tried to play BF4 on my computer, the music, for instance, on the main menu would randomly cut out for 1 second and repeat from the beginning of the loop. This would also happen to the in-game ambient noise as well, which rendered the game unplayable.

My rig:
-Phenom II x4 955 BE (OC'ed to 3.8ghz with coolermaster 212 evo)
-8gb DDR2 800mhz (4x2gb sticks)
-120gb Kingston hyperx SSD
-MSI R9 270x 2gb Gaming edition graphics card
-2x500gb seagate 7200rpm storage drives
-ASUS M4A785-m Motherboard
-Corsair 650watt TX powersupply
-27 inch HP 1080p display
-Logitech g930 wireless gaming headset

Today, I found the solution to this problem. The CPU overclock was causing this issue. Why? No idea. But as soon as I deleted my OC, the problem went away. The OC was stable too, I ran prime for hours on end with no problem.

Anyways, I just thought I would post this in case anyone else is having an audio issue with Battlefield 4. If anyone can explain why this is happening, that would be helpful. Oh, and incase anyone is wondering, I can play the game on high settings 1080p.

Just a quick follow up. I put my multiplyer back to stock (16x) but instead changed my HT clock to 217, which gives me a 3.47ghz OC. This worked fine with BF4. Anyone have any ideas? Is there some kind of imbalance with my NB, HT link, and ram that the HT OC fixes?

Anyone have some answers to this? My theory is that AMD wanted people to upgrade their processor so they made it so the game is close to unplayable on an overclocked CPU as I am not the only person with this issue.
