Anyone know where I can buy one of these things except circuit city? Not sure why Newegg or some of the other major computer part sites don't have them but its making me mad. I've read reviews and such on the EVGA and ASUS 680i boards and I'm not to impressed. But i've always had good luck with BFG plus their support is great so i want to get my new mobo from them. Any help is appreciated.

If you have a Fry's Electronics within driving distance, they have them. I was just in there tonight and saw they had a big pile. If you want to mail-order, try frysoutpost.com.

I didn't buy one because I'm upset with nVidias unwillingness to update their chipset drivers, but that's a different story. Looks like a nice board. Had lots of parts. Lots of capacitors. I think nowadays that might be a good sign, and just like back in the olden times you'd kick a car's tires to test its overall fitness, capacitor count could be the salient indicator.

I know most of the 680i boards are the same but personally I'm a bigger fan of BFG than EVGA and I'd rather get my motherboard from them if i can find it.

Seriously just go for eVGA 680I.

Fan boy/ Company loyalty means nothing in computer world. You want whats
cheap, reliable, and fast.

Ive seen the BFG at COMPUSA but their selling WAY over priced, for 330$

I currently have the eVGA 680I and love it to bits. It has to be my favorite mobo so far because of its ease of use and has not ONCE crashed on me or burned or fried, since i have been aggressively OCing my E6400.

Hey man COMPUSA is selling it this week for 229$ after 50$ direct savings and another 50$ in repates, I think that is a really good deal, in my area the Mobo was available in the local store and even if it is not available in your area it would be under free shipping
But I am still in debate to go with the BFG or AW9D-MAX
Goodluck and here is the link
