BFME 2 Disk Problems

so this probably can't be resolved but i give it a shot anyway.
so i have BFME 2 (and BFME 1) the first BFME works just fine but the second one doesnt reason?
i dont have the disk but have the data still retrieved it from my old laptop but now when i try to launch it it says that i need the disk but i lost it D: .
i have all the data even de even the box where it came in with the code but not the cd so is there any work around so that i can play the game ?
and i know piracy maybe a option but idk 🙁

You can't just copy the data, you have to actually install the game like the first time around.
Your new computer doesn't really know the game exists, and during the installation process there are files put in other places that aren't just the game folder that tell the computer how the game works and accesses system resources/ect.

well then why does my other game work i also did copy another game of another drive into the specific folders and it works (BFME 1)
i am actually playing it right now but the first game that i copyed and worked din't require the cd to be inserted at al times but the second game BFME 2 where this thread is about does require a cd but i want to bypass that requirement

Not all games require installation, most do. Steam is slightly more liberal with games needing to be installed.

What you're asking about is a game crack, which we can't discuss on Tom's Hardware as it's a part of software piracy.
