Im having some major stutter and low fps issues in the bfv beta (ik its a beta but other people are playing fine) i watched some benchmarks and my rig should be more then fine for high at 60 fps. Im even at 900p.

I5 3450 @ 3.30 ghz
Msi h61mu-e35
8GB DDR3 1600 mhz
EVGA GTX 1060 3GB
Thermaltake 500W PSU

Any settings do u guys think i need to mess with? Or just maybe my rig isnt good enough? If so im really disapointed that i cant play this. I play every other game that has came out this year at ultra 60 +

My settings are at high 900p, and i have all visual effects off. Film grain etc. I get anywhere from 35-40 fps just running around,a and then in gun fights i drop to 25 and just lose out on any fun in the game.

I gave up my i5-2320 this february. Got myself a used i7-3770K for around US$160. The used price hard to go lower, been waiting like forever. My secondary pc specs are as follow:
MSI Z77A-G45
4x4Gb DDR3-1600 CL7
AMD 480 4Gb
240Gb SSD PNY
500W psu

The I5-2320 was only able to get BF1 on 40-55 fps on 900p (limited to office monitor) ultra setting. After getting i7-3770K 4,2GHz (mine only get this clock, unlucky), the fps boost into above 70 sometime hit 100. Please make sure to add a user.cfg file which enable BF1 to use 8 threads instead of standard 6 threads.

PS:You'll need to make a user.cfg file with the following words:
thread.processorcount 8
thread.maxprocessorcount 8

OK back to BFV beta. Using my home pc, it did not differ...

Upgrade your CPU to a Core i7 3770 (either 'k' or "non k")and BF 5 should run fine. The BF 1 and BF 5 relies heavily on CPU power on multiplayer. Core i7 with its 8 threads runs BF 1 multiplayer smoothly (usually 60+ fps on a good GPU) so I think BF 5 too should run smooth.

You can find used Core i7 3770 in ebay at a lower price (usually 70-150$). You can also go for Core i7 2600.

Edit: Also dont forget to upgrade your Ram to 16gb. I have seen BF 1 stutter at 8gb ram during multiplayer.

Well i tried that and it got me like 5 more fps on avg. But i think i found my issue. Cpu is constantly at 80% usage and gpu only at 40%-45%. But i dont see why because i played bf1 just fine with this cpu

And i upped my res to 1080 and put stuff on medium except for textures on high, and now im getting constant 40-50 fps with no drops. It doesnt look the greatest or feel the smoothest but atleast its playable now

OK back to BFV beta. Using my home pc, it did not differ with BF1 performance. My home pc is an interesting case since its has very low clock but able to play the game just fine. Here is the specs:

Xeon E5-2xxxL V4 12 core 24 thread 1,7GHz
X99 asrock taichi
4x4Gb DDR4-2400
480 Gb SSD OCZ arc100
850W silverstone psu
GTX 1060 6Gb palit
Samsung Odyssey VR

BFV can directly use 12 thread without user.cfg (10 fully utilized while the extra 2 was above 50%)
Run perfectly fine and enable to push the gpu into 95% usage most of the time.
Played it at 1080 ultra but only DX11. My pc has lots of stagger in DX12, well its a beta.
For a 1,7GHz cpu (base 1,5GHz turbo 2,2GHz), its amazing that it can run current games and even Skyrim VR and Fallout 4 VR.
