Suffering a big framerate drop when playing games. Started a few days ago, roughly around the time I downloaded the latest drivers for my Geforce GTX970 vid card. Thought it was the new drivers so I ran DDU and cleaned them out and reinstalled. No improvement. Figured this was a good excuse to upgrade my card so I went out and bought a GTX 1660ti to replace it. Uh oh...didn't fix the problem.
My current setup:
ASRock Z87 Extreme6
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (64-bit)
Intel® Core™ i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
Driver version 430.86
16.93 GB ram
When I use Nvidia Geforce experience to optimize my game setting for various games like Warhammer: Vermintide 2 it recommends basically max settings. However when I play the game I get horrible framerates, down to like 11 frames per second in the crowded battles. A week ago the games ran fine.
Any help would be much appreciated.
